A pool, a pergola and castle ruins
There’s a reason guests call it “the most beautiful place we’ve ever stayed”: La Casina sits deep in the woods, beside the ruins of a castle, with a blue pool edged in terracotta and a cane pergola made for long summer lunches.
The dry-stone walls, the stonework and the lovingly kept garden speak of a true Tuscan countryside, astonishingly quiet. Days here follow their own rhythm: a swim in the pool, a nap in the shade, wanderings along the footpaths, and dinner outdoors as the light fades.
When the mood for a city strikes, Arezzo and the villages of the Valdichiana are a short drive away. But the truth is, once you’re here you won’t want to leave.

A beautiful, well-located house with a wonderful view and an excellent pool. A fantastic host and neighbour, accommodating, helpful and very welcoming. They also offered us local wine, vegetables and homemade cake. Truly beyond expectations.
